1942 restored Navy Seabees tractor International I4 Construction Battalions:
$3050.00

Have potential buyer as of 11-29-15, all others interested in it, message me before purchasing so I don\'t have two buyers at once. Thank you! Very rare industrial tractor restored, 1942 navy international I4 tractor. Like the W4 but instead the Industrial model had a foot throttle and heavy duty front axle. 4 cylinder gasoline engine runs and drive great. starts every time first pull with no choke! new tires front and back, one front just needs to be mounted.Navy construction Battalions tractor, most likely used for roadwork and construction, if you type in International navy tractor on Google Images there is a picture of another international I4 that was also used in construction battalions for the navy.Has a unique brass plate welded under serial number plate saying CB 1016, the CB stands for Seabees, a navy construction battalions. Very interesting, I found this online,
\"A seabee is a member of the United States Naval Construction Forces (NCF). The word \"Seabee\" comes from initials \"CB\" which in turn comes from the term Construction Battalions.[2] The Seabees have a history of building bases, bulldozing and paving thousands of miles of roadway and airstrips, and accomplishing myriad other construction projects in a wide variety of military theaters dating back to World War II.\"Only 1,636 were made in 1942, and 24,000 were made through all the years they manufactured the I4.Painted flat olive drab with binks spray gun, engine painted with flat black engine high heat enamel. Gauges aren\'t aligned with holes in hood, not sure why, as they were when I got this tractor. So should be fixable. Emergency brake lever is broke off transmission plate, will be included, but needs to be re-welded. No pto, but big heavy duty pintle hook for pulling most likely anything! Starts, goes, stops, and whatever else it needs! Perfectly functionable.Front wheel weights welded on, rear wheel weights. Very heavy!New coil, spark plug wires, distributor cap, fuel line, fuel filter, radiator hoses, tires, newer wiring harness, and paint, 5 speed with road gear and reverse. Includes original manual with lubrication poster, belt pulley (unknown condition) for attachments, left over paint, new front tire (needs to be mounted), some old and new miscellaneous parts, and about 3/4-7/8 of an engine gasket set. Also if buyer wants, it can include transmission pate off a farmal H I believe. I purchased thinking it would fit the I4 because of the E-brake being broke off, but was a little different for hitch to hook up onto. PLEASE message me for more pictures or questions if you have any concerns.I will not ship this tractor! Buyer will have to set up shipping on their own if needed. Local pickup only otherwise, I will help out in any ways possible though. For those who are local, message me if you want to check it out in person and we can set up a time and date. Please pay for it as fast as you can, Or when you pick it up, just let me know in advance. Will not let tractor leave my hands without being fully paid.Thank you!
