sale is for a vintage 1950s Pure Aluminum Grease Jar Canister with Strainer intact. If you were a cook in the South you had to have a Grease Jar for Bacon Grease storage. Every vegetable was cooked with a large dollop of bacon fat! The strainer is removable and the inside is super clean. Marked on the bottom is \"PURE ALUMINUM MADE IN USA\". It measures 6\" tall by 5\" across and other than a minor dent on the bottom it is in excellent condition.
