Original 51-53 panhead gas tanks.
Have been sitting on a shelf in an old shop for a very long time.
Emblems are great with no cracks/fixes.
The sheet metal is still nice and think despite the surface rust. Looks like all threads are still good. Wire brush would do the trick.
All mounting brackets are good and no repairs.
There is a pinhole the size of a pencil tip on the front right side tank. It\'s man made, not from rust rot. Easy fix with a drop of braise.
There are two holes on the top towards the back on the tanks, it looks like they had a small plate bracket to hold them together, maybe for race or maybe no rear tank tabs on the frame?
They are both the size of a pen tip. Easily braised.
Inside of tanks are surface rusty, could be cleaned without destroying the old paint if you know what your doing.
Sold as is,where is.
Would look perfect on an old pan bobber. That is for looking.
Please ignore the shipping quote, actual/factual shipping will be determined at end of sale with a screen shot of price to sale winner.
