1951 Singer \"Centennial\" Model 128 Sewing Machine 1951 Singer \"Centennial\" Model 128 Sewing Machine

This is an exceptionally clean and well operating machine. It appears that it has been kept oiled by the previous owner. The \"badge\" indicates the Centennial of Singer Sewing Machines, 1851-1951, but the serial number records I found put it at 1948. This is \"vibrating bobbin\" or \"shuttle\" type machine. I has one bobbin in the bobbin case and two spares. 
The \"Bent Wood\" case is in very good condition. It does have some scratches on the surface. It looks nice, but does have scratches and a few paint splatters. The key was missing and I have made a home made key that will be shipped with the machine. There is one auxiliary foot. There are no attachments, no manual and the oil can is missing.

The wiring is not frayed and the foot pedal works well. Motor comes right up to speed. Lamp works. I oiled and greased the machine, threaded it and it sewed just fine on the first try. I didn\'t even have to change the needle. All the decorations are in excellent condition. Plated covers have no rust whatever on them.
