1957 John Deere 720 Diesel Pony Start serial number 7203924, this tractor has been in a restoration process for the last 5 years, the pony motor was rebuilt 5 years ago and not run since, the big diesel engine runs good, it has not been run in the last three years only a couple times to move it in and out of the shop, it has had the restoration started and never got completely done, you can use it as is or finish it, the fuel tank has been removed and cleaned the radiator has been rebuilt, the power steering did work but now is sluggish maybe low on fluid, the wide front is a factory square axle John Deere it has one weld on it but it is nice, the sheet metal is very nice and solid not perfect but close, the pain tis nice not a new car finish but nice, the rear rims are good and slid, the rear tires are 15.5/38 at 90% tread and very nice with some checking but nice, has a float ride seat, outside air stack is very nice, good drawbar hitch, clutch, brakes and transmission are all good, it has some new hydraulic lines and the rear hydraulic couplers are new, PTO works good, nice steering wheel, original tach. reads around 5000 hours but not working, pony motor turns over it does need a negative cable installed for the pony motor, but if you put a battery in and rig a cable up for a ground the pony turns over good, I never tires to start it but it was rebuilt 5 years ago, the previous owner said he had over $6500 in this tractor, put it to work as is or finish restoring, I am startingit low and selling it .
