- MINOX/WESTLAR SPY CAMERA: Made in Germany; marked \"COMPLAN 1:3,5 f=15mm\"; in its leather mini carry case with \"Minox Measuring Chain\" and keyring-style clasp
- MINOLTA 16 SPY CAMERA (This is the one you see mounted on the tripod): Made in Japan; marked \"ROKKOR 1:28 f=22mm\"; has leather wrist strap and bracket for tripod mounting
- 1 CARTRIDGE MINOLTA FILM: \"Tri-X\" B&W film; this was inside the Minolta 16 spy camera; it appears to be fully used up (exposed); Who knows what mystery photos may be on that film!?
- MINOX SPY-SIZE LIGHT METER: in its leather mini carry case
- MINOX TRIPOD BRACKET FOR SPY CAMERA: Works with this camera and the \"pocket tripod\" (see below).
- MINOX SPY-SIZE \"POCKET TRIPOD\" & SHUTTER-RELEASE KIT: in its leather mini carry case; the entire tripod along with the shutter release cable all collapses and stows away into the size of a large pencil! Then it fits inside the leather case WITH the Minox tripod bracket mentioned above.
- 2 SPY CAMERA \"RIGHT ANGLE FINDERS\": one fits this Minox spy camera (apparently for taking photos around a corner); the other one is marked Minox, but I\'m not sure whether it belongs to this camera model or not.
- MINOX FILTER SET Color Correction Filter Kit: R3, R6, and B6 filters
- MINOX DIA-STANZE Transparency Cutter: in its original box (note: one end of the cardboard box is missing)
- MINOX TRANSPARENCY MOUNTS: appears to be a full box
- MINI MAGNIFYING CLIP-ON LENSES: vintage - by May Mfg. Corp. in N.Y.; these can be clipped onto your eyeglasses for magnification while examining tiny spy pictures, or to better see the dials and controls while operating the spy cameras
- BOOK: MINOX GUIDE (80 pages): by W.D.Emanuel (c) 1957; a very comprehensive instruction manual for using these Minox spy cameras and accessories!
- BOOK: SMALL MINOX, BIG PICTURES (208 pages clothbound): by Rolf Kasemeier (c) 1959; even more comprehensive!
- MINOX MEMO - 16 EDITIONS + RING BINDER: This is the ring binder from Minox for filing your editions of Minox Memo -- a quarterly publication; the binder contains 15 editions of Minox Memo, dated between 1957 and 1965.
- MINOX EPHEMERA: various brochures and sales materials, as shown in the photos
- MINOX NEGATIVE SLEEVE: acetate, I believe; this probably came back from the processing center with negatives inside
- PROVENANCE: There are 3 items that show the late collector/owner\'s name and address: (1) an unused Minox film mailer bag dated 1967, (2) a typed/hand-signed letter from the Minox processing center dated 1967, and (3) the Small Minox - Big Pictures book mentioned above
Condition Details:
Here you have my best good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep in mind, though, that vintage/antique items always show their age -- (Don\'t we all!?) --so please expect that there will be something about this item (or lot) that\'s not perfect. Even if it\'s \"mint\" or \"new-old-stock,\" it will still be somehow touched by Father Time.
- Everything appears to be in beautiful condition. I see nothing showing signs of abuse -- no water damage or mildew, no banged-up components, etc.
- This is an estate collection, and I am not knowledgeable with these cameras, so it\'s all being sold AS-IS. I can only ASSUME it\'s all functional.
- I don\'t believe there are missing parts but, again, I am not knowledgeable, so PLEASE supersize all photos, and ask any questions before offerding. Thank you.
As with all my listings (unless explicitly stated otherwise), this comes from a NON-smoking environment.
