1961 Buick 401 V8 Engine, with 1958 Dynaflow automatic transmission
In what feels like a previous life, more than 40 years ago, I had a rusty, crusty 1958 Buick Super. It was rusty and crusty when I bought it. One cold winter night, I discovered that I did not have enough anti freeze in the cooling system, when the water froze, cracking the engine block. I replaced the original engine with a 1961 Buick 401 V8. The body was so rusty, it was not worth repairing (at that time), so I saved the engine, transmission, the doors, hood, and trunk lid, and junked the rest of the car. To the best of my recollection, the engine and transmission have relatively average milage on them.
The buyer will need to come to my location or arrange for trailering or shipping. The buyer is responsible for all costs to take possession of the engine and transmission.
