Here is a fine 1963(circa) King Super 20 S1 in Raw Brass that sounds fantastic. This horn is not perfect. There are a few dings and pings. 95% of the original lacquer has been removed adn the brass polished. The inner workings are great. Slides all work well (slide 1 is just a little slow). Valves are in great shape and are very fast and responsive. New felts on the valves. Comes with original case that is great on the out side but a bit rough on the inside. Latches both work. The case opens all the way to the floor. What ever stopped it at 90 degrees is no longer there.
This horn is great for a jazz player that doesn\'t want to worry about their main axe getting another ding but still wants it to sound great. This horn really fills a room through all registers. Being an S1 allows you to blow all night with out getting tired, but still allows for all ranges of volume.
