This is a Bb trumpet labeled \"Silvertone 200\" which was made for Sears by Blessing in about 1964. This is actually their Super Artist model trumpet with the large 0.468\" bore and has serial number 136264 as well as another number 2408 on the third valve slide which may be the Sears number. The original lacquer has been removed and it\'s now polished brass with nickel silver outer slides. Lightly engraved all the way up the bell past the valves. The valves work smooth and the slides all move although the first slide is stiff. The only flaw I can find is that the rear bell brace looks to have been reset at some time and it wasn\'t cleaned up perfectly.
Don\'t miss this opportunity to get a large bore Super Artist trumpet for less than they usually go for.The bell is 4-3/4\" diameter, bore is 0.468 and the length is 19-1/4\".You need to use the alternate 1-2 fingering for the E above middle C on this since the open fingering is very flat. I was told this is common for these Blessing horns but I have never played another one so can\'t be sure of that.
No case for this but it comes with a nice silver plated mouthpiece with \"1\" on it.
