I have a complete 64 pontiac gto 389 motor that came out of a running car. I bought it from a car guy who passed away and sold it to me by his sister. All the parts are correct to the motor. The carb # is 3647S for a manual motor. Motor is also 78X manual motor. The heads are 9770716 also 64 gto to this motor Date coded D 8 4 April 8,1964. The timing chain cover was off the motor on a stand and I could see he just put on a new timing chain. It had the pan off and everything looked good. The motor turns and you can here the compression. I installed all brackets, pullys,alt, motor mounts. The distributor and all wiring are hooked up. No warranty. This is a pick up only. I will not ship this motor. I disassembled one cylinder head to check on the bore of the engine. I was told it was a standard bore motor. The pistons look to be original standard pistons. Not for sure.
