This is a 1964 Schwinn Deluxe Stingray in as found condition. Manufactured in August of 64. The bike appears to be all original except for the tires and inner tubes. The coppertone paint is original with some scratches and a rub mark on the bottom of the downtube probably caused by the front tire rubbing while riding the bike with the fork turned around backwards. A popular stunt I\'m sure back in the day. The frame and fork have no cracks or repairs that I can find. The frame, fork and crank are correctly dated 1964. The chrome is in fair condition with the seat brace and rear fender in worse condition than the rest of the chrome. The rear fender also has a hole in top center as seen in the pics. Front rim also has pitting in some areas with some chrome loss. Wheels are straight and true and not all dinged up. This bike rides straight and true. The Solo polo saddle is in decent shape for its age but does have a few cuts and a tear in the top that has been glued down. The decal on the underside of the saddle is in place but not legible. I think that accurately describes the condition of this classic Stingray. If you would like more info please ask. Thanks for looking and good luck offerding.
