1965 Bear Kodiak, 46#. What I have to stress on this is the over all slenderness of the riser and limbs. The riser is much more slender than any of the other 4 1965 Kodiaks I have owned, which is not a lot but many seem to be bulkier. The real unique feature of this bow is the limb width. Just below the nock the limbs are 5/8” wide. Which is narrower than most 65’s, but also the limbs slowly taper down to this width making for a slender limb all the way. The most similar bow I have owned would be a 1960 Kodiak Special. I am sure there are plenty out there with limbs like this, but from what I have seen they are at least less common than most. I have included a picture of the limb between two 1962 Kodiaks for reference.
Besides the narrow limbs, the bow is in great, what I consider collector condition. No holes, cracks, etc. It is not as new, but is the nicest bow in my collection. The finish has also failed to yellow like most bows, making the bow a real looker. Anyways, I consider this a top shelf 65, and believe it is worth more than most, so, if you have any questions, please ask. USA shipping only.
