Thanks to the great collectors out there who purchased dealer promo models from us over the past two weeks. I have learned a lot from you! This car was in the original listings and was sold to a collector who decided to return it because we failed to mention (actually we never even NOTICED them) very tiny storage wear scratches on the rooftop. Going back into the original listing I have tried to zero in on the rooftop to show the scratches, but the photos don\'t have enough detail. In all honesty and fairness to the very kind and understanding collector who returned this great model, the car is NEAR MINT although it is certainly not MINT as was originally mentioned, with these apparent scratches on top. They are very, VERY faint and were evidently caused by box storage for over 45 years. YOU WILL NOT NOTICE THEM AS THE MODEL SITS IN A CASE OR ON A SHELF, however, you WILL notice them if you hold the car up to the light to inspect the roof. I would compare them to the faint scratches that sometimes appear on an old LP record that are THERE, but do not affect the sound of the record. THE SCRATCHES ARE FAINT and minor, caused by storage in the original box and NOT by play wear. These were never played with. THIS sale is for a 1970 PLYMOUTH GTX with really sharp BURNT ORANGE metallic finish in its original box. Looks just like new (except for the minor wear on the rooftop!) Box shows some wear and tear on the non-stamped end and one inside small flap is missing.The stamped end is strong and has ALL flaps. THIS ONE IS A BEAUTY!!! .
