This is a Fender Super Twin185 watt tube guitar amp believed to be from the late 1970’s.

It is an estate find and I have no furtherinfo on this amp other than what is in this item description. The stand-by switch is broken so itis currently in non-working condition. It is being soldin untested condition and the working condition (once the stand-by switch isreplaced) is unknown.

The good news is that an unblown 7A fusewas in the fuse receptacle when found (specified for 6 ¼ A). The tubes are allbranded RCA and appear to be original to the amp. The 6L6GC have signs of use butthe getters are not very scorched. Some hardware is missing. When found, theamp chassis was in place but not fastened. The cabinet has 2 X 12” CTS drivers withlarge magnets. The frame of each driver is painted a dull metallic gray
