Mid 1970s Framus Nashville Texan with a beautiful FLAMED MAPLE BACK and HEADSTOCK front - in all original and very good condition - will ship with a used softshell case. We have had many, many vintage Framus guitars come through our shop, and some were quite cool and all very very unique. THIS, by far, is the coolest and prettiest. This Framus Nashville has a really stunning book-matched FLAMED MAPLE BACK - and the flame on the headstock veneer is just as beautiful. This is an over 40 year old guitar, so she has some dings and scratches and dents - and some very cool finish checking - but overall, it is in really good shape. There are 3 top cracks that you should be able to see in the photos. When the guitar came to us, it had been stored in a very dry environment. In the week and a half that we\'ve owned it, already the cracks have started to close up and heal in our humidified room. This Framus features a wide neck carve and sort of a D shaped carve, as well as the nice fat frets that Framus guitars are famous for. Action is quite good; she is very easy to play. Solid spruce top, maple sides, and book matched solid flamed maple back. Regarding the cracks: we speculate, if this guitar is properly and consistently humidified - those cracks may continue to close, as they have started doing now. Down the road, the next owner may want to have them cleated. They do not threaten the sonic or structural integrity of the guitar. She has a full and bright sound and is great fun to play; and that back is really pretty to look at. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks.
