Jack
in the Box is a Gottlieb classic from the 70's which features lots of drop
target action and lot of scoring opportunities.
The board has been cleaned and waxed and is in great shape, hardly any
wear, except for the spots at the kickout holes that all of these machines
have. An easy touchup on a part of the
board that can’t be seen in normal play.
All of
the rubber and the targets have been replaced and two of the flippers
completely rebuilt. The old targets are
included as spares in case you break one.
The
bulbs were replaced with the cooler running #47 to protect the plastic.
All of the
original schematics and guide are with the machine. There is some flaking on
the backglass, but this does not affect the stars of the scene: The eight lovely women surrounding the
clown. The cabinet is solid with no sign
of damage other than the normal bumps and knicks. The paint is all original.
The machine is
working nearly 100%. All players will score and reset, “Special” and “Extra
Ball” work and most of the side scoring.
The features that do not work all are controlled by one relay according
to the schematics. I’ve carefully sanded
all of the contacts and checked for broken wires but now it needs a more
experienced tech to fix this last bit.
I’m selling it AS-IS.
Pickup is
preferred. I can help with the loading. The machine is in Walled Lake, Michigan. Send a message if you would like to see the
machine. If you want it shipped, you
must arrange all the details. Shipping
is the responsibility of the winner.
