RARE 1981 Bally Medusa Pinball Machine with prototype backglass artwork!!
Here is your chance to own a rare version of the Bally Medusa pinball machine. The original artwork by Kevin O'Conner includes extra detail to show the female breast and groin areas. Only about 10 such backglass were produced and released before Bally Mgmt demanded the detail be removed. See more info on this bit of history here at the Internet Pinball Database.
Here is a quick rundown of the condition of this game:
- Plastics cleaned and polished with Novus
- Playfield parts removed and playfield cleaned with Novus
- New rubber installed
- Playfield bulbs replaced
- New pop bumper caps and rings
- New ball
- New repro white Olympus drop targets
- New repro red Medusa drop targets
- New zipper-flipper bats
- New red translucent flippers
- New Shield of the Gods post
- New red star rollovers with inserts (game had orange...will provide new orange inserts if buyer chooses)
- Original manual / schematic included
- Game is missing the 4th player 7-digit display and the 3rd player 7-digit display is not working
- 1st and 2nd player 7-digit displays in great condition with no burns or missing segments
- Credit/Match and playfield 6-digit displays have no burn or missing segments
- Plastic on upper field left has tip broken off that extends over the flipper (repro plastics set is available from Classic Playfield Reproductions)
- Playfield does have wear. Please see detail pictures of bonus insert area and upper playfield area
- All original boards
- Game plays and speech works 100%
- Cabinet and Backbox have matching serial numbers EME 1366
- No coin mech are included
