Offered for sale is this Rare 1981 Dukes of Hazzard Plastic Lunchbox & Thermos in Nr Mint condition & issued by Aladdin. This is easily the Rarest of all issued Dukes lunchboxes due to the design. This lunchbox was designed to be filled with water & frozen so as the lunches were kept cold but did not go over that well in sales as the lunchboxes were to heavy for the kids. Note the two plastic plugs as shown in the last 2 pics which could be removed to fill the hollow side bands with water. Production was very limited & this design was scrapped by Aladdin & reissued without the plugs. To find one of these examples with the plugs was a rare find indeed as so few surface for sale. This lunchbox design even without the plugs was only issued for 1 year 36 years ago in 1981 & they actually issued 2 other versions that year..The Coca Cola & Max Headroom versions. This is a Rare one & easily the Rarest & most sought after of all the Dukes of Hazzard lunchboxes issued in the 1980\'s..A MUST for the Lunchbox or Dukes of Hazzard collector that wants Rare & this lunchbox WILL SELL !!!.I collect & sell only the rarest & finest lunchboxes & this is a fine example !!!
