1982 Marshall JCM800 2210 100 Watt 20th Anniversary Series Amplifier Head
- 1982 Marshall JCM800 2210 100 Watt 20th Anniversary Series Channel Switching Amplifier Head (used to be white)
- One of the first channel switching amp designs -
-- Normal channel has: Volume/Bass/Treble-- Boost channel has: Volume/Gain/Bass/Middle/Treble-- Master controls are: Volume/Presence/Reverb
- Anniversary Serial Number 216 (AS 00216)
- This amp was originally WHITE, to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Marshall amps, founded in 1962(see magazine ad pic)
- I am the original owner, I bought this amp new in 1982 from Long & McQuade Musical Instruments inParsippany, NJ (no longer there)
- Sometime in the mid-80\'s I had the great idea (NOT!!!) of removing the white tolex covering andrefinishing the amp in its\' natural wood finish. As you can see from the pictures, Marshall fills inimperfections with gray filler to make the plywood as smooth as possible to receive the tolex.
- I replaced the 6550 and 12AX7 tubes once in the early 90\'s
- This amp could use a new set of tubes, a re-biasing, and a good cleaning of the front panel pots(some are scratchy), but once that\'s done it should bring it back to its\' 80\'s Crunch JCM Glory!
- Due to its\' size/weight, I\'d prefer to sell local (Northern NJ, I am flexible in arranging a meetingplace...), but will pack it safely if you\'re willing to pay for the shipping
- Ask for additional pics or any other with confidence. Satisfaction is guaranteed. Please contact me with any questions or concernsthroughout the entire sale process, both pre- and post- sale. I aim to please! Check my response!
