PRO-LINE PL-20 Carrera
"ON A ZERO TO 10 SCALE THIS BIKE IS ABOUT AN 11.5"- From the RedLine PL-20 Bike Test in the January 1984 Issue of BMX Action.
Being sold as-found, this 1984 RedLine Pro-Line PL-20 Carrera BMX. Ultra-light with beautifully crafted welds, this a true piece of BMX history. This does not have the small seat stay gusset, which from what I understand, appears on later 84s. It also has a small Japan decal, which leads me to think this bike is one of a limited number of PL-20 Carreras built by Kawamura Cycles in Kobe Japan. There are no dents and no cracks that I can see. There is a little bit of rust under the headtube gussets. The decals are original. They are worn down on the forks, and on the edges of the REDLINE ALL CHROMOLY decal on the top tube near the seat. Otherwise, the other decals only have some scattered nicks and scuffs, typical of age and use. I am not sure if all decals are still present so please review the photos. The frame and handlebars are both impressed with the oval Redline logo. Both of the 400 Series Flight Crank arms are impressed with REDLINE 180.I am not sure what components are OEM and what has been upgraded, so here is a run-down of the parts, and please review the photos:Frame and Fork: RedLine PL-20

*In previous years I had teamed with the UPS Store for packing and

the UPS Store's service fees and packing charges to be too expensive, discouraging them from offerding. So from now on I will be undertaking
the packing and shipping of all items myself, in-house.
