For more than 85 years the Gibson banjo has been at the forefront of such musical genres as country, bluegrass, Celtic and now country-rock music. The hallowed history of this great instrument has produced a great many classic models through the years, none more revered than the pre-war RB-75. Gibson proudly recreates this celebrated instrument in the form of the 1998 RB-75. Finished in Gibson’s vintage lacquer formulation, and accurately captures the tone and look of the most classic and sought after Gibson banjos.

This is a used instrument in Excellent condition. There are some very minor cosmetic flaws like tarnished hardware, a dirty skin (from being played regularly), and a very small ding on the bottom side wood ring (shown in final image). There is no major damage that affects the tone or playability of the instrument, or the overall visual appeal. Overall condition of this instrument is EXCELLENT.

There are lots of extra goodies that will be shipped with this instrument like a Fishman removable banjo pickup in its original box with manual, leather strap, extra hardware, tools, and spare parts (including 3 replacement bridges), and the original Gibson shaped hardshell case. There have been several upgrades like new tuners and tail piece HOWEVER the original parts come with it and can be switched back without any mods.
