Rosette C scroll foliage crestcontinuing with scallop shape rounded profiles and so proportion with great lines.Original vintage crackle paint with dark greenish gilt on the motifs. Comfortablesofa that is upholstered below the arms, with a plump one pieceloosecushion with nice deep seating. Low back that merges fluidly into the arms. Heldby cabriole legs and terminating with scroll leaf feet, apron is ornately carvedwith detail as well. Upholstered in cotton muslin fabric which is meant to be easilyrecovered or use as it is. Condition * Sturdy and heavy piecesoriginal crackle paint is worn normal considering the age of the settee, fabricis cotton muslin which is meant to be recovered,expect some natural markings from the grain ofthis fabric, however it is clean and can be used. Fabric is not a thick upholsterytype material. There is a tear and scuff on the left bottom back side of thefabric (see photo). Please ask all questions before purchasing.
