Do not use MH, LED, or HPS!!!

MOST INTERNET AND EBAY SELLERS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE SELLING. Do not be fooled~~!

I HAVE A COLLEGE DEGREE IN HORTICULTURE!

What is the best light for a plant? Of course it is SUNLIGHT! What type of bulb most closely mimics this light???

FLUORESCENTS!!

Tanning Beds use Fluorescent Bulbs! Why???

The bulbs in tanning beds are the same as what we use to grow plants!

They produce UV light (which most closely matches that of the sun) they are safe, practical, and economical vs. alterative bulbs.

It is importaint that the type of light you use is able to be used by the plant. Incadescents, halogens, etc.. put out a TON of light, and lumens, but it it not used by the plant to produce photosynthesis and growth. Our cfl's are chosen for their low electrical use and because there is not wasted energy producing heat or light that cannot be utilized by plants.
