These are my mother\'s and this is how she described this pair of offered chairs:
\"Definitely antique. 150 years old I guess.Maybe they are Victorian or Gothic; notice not a full arm, which starts half-way back witha \"T\" shaped cushion, which was to accommodate ladies wearing full dresses.Grandmother had them paintedyellowwith white distressing. They are upholstered inyellowvinyl with a nail head trim. They are both in \'very\' good condition esp. when considering how old they are andwhere they have been stored for decades (basement).Both very sturdy, very heavy and quite solid. They both appear to be the same in size.

FYI: I am 6 feet 1 inch and about 190 lbs. When sitting in either chair I am very comfortable. The cushions are both comfortable and have a nice soft feel. I see no tears in the vinyl btw. I have not cleaned either of these 2 chairs other than giving each a good dusting off.
Approximate Measurements are:
42 inches from bottom to highest top edge of chair25 inches cushion length from back end to front end.22 inches wide from outside end of 1 arm to outside end of other arm.Weight: I would guess about 50 lbs each chair. Darn heavy!
