Up for sale is a 200 plug lot of organic plugs for growing Pink Oyster mushrooms on logs. The Pink Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus djamor) has a delicious flavor and texture. Can be grown on soft hardwoods such as poplar and aspen (although harder woods such as oak and maple work well too--they just take longer to produce). Simply drill holes down the periphery of your log (or in the top of a freshly-cut stump), and whack in the plugs with a mallet or hammer. You will enjoy Pink Oyster mushrooms for years! Please note that in areas that receive temps below 40 in the winter will have to overwinter their logs inside.This kit includes enough plugs to inoculate 4 to 5 four foot logs, 3-6 inches in diameter.Directions included.
