This expertly crafted guitar was manufactured under the guidance of Fernandes and clearly takes its cues from its Gibson cousin (no relation). With a crisp Alpine White finish, gold hardware, and iconic split diamond headstock inlay and open book headstock shape, this Burny carefully adheres to the specifications of the Les Paul Custom and boasts a pair of hotly wound humbuckers. The pickups are very well balanced and read just shy of 12k, with plenty of punch and power. Great for higher gain situations, these pickups deliver great crunch and fullness, with plenty of top end and clarity in the bridge position, paired with a neck pickup that is warm and full without sacrificing articulation. Weighing 8lbs 12oz and professionally setup here at Mike & Mike\'s Guitar Bar, this Burny is ready for stage and studio work.
The neck has a medium C \"60s\" profile with original vintage style fretwear that shows virtually no wear, with well rounded crowns. The rosewood fretboard sports white binding, pearloid block inlays, and a nut that\'s a full 1 11/16\" in width, leaving plenty of room for accurate lead work and effortless chording. The headstock has the original gold Ping tuning machines with perfect gold plating and tulip buttons. The face of the headstock has a pearloid split diamond inlay, as well as the Burny logo, and a non-original Gibson truss rod cover.
On the body, all of the electronics work as they should, with the usual individual volume and tone knobs for each pickup coupled with a three-way pickup selector. The original gold hardware shows zero wear, and the guitar is complete with a set of original gold speed knobs. This guitar is truly showroom clean, with barely a scratch on it, aside from faint pick wear on the pickguard from a bit of light strumming. Imported directly from Japan (and produced in China specifically for that market), this Burny is quite scarce outside its country of origin, and truly sounds as good as it looks, capturing the tonal power of a Les Paul at a competitive price!
