Welcome to Musicdungeon. You are offerding on a great piece. This is the 2005 Gibson USA J185 Acoustic Electric Guitar. 24.75\" scale. 1.72\" nut width. 15 7/8\" bottom bout. 4 5/8\" deep. We recently acquired the inventory of a large music store. We have a lot of guitars, basses, amplifiers, effects, and pro audio gear coming up. So, please keep an eye on our store. This J185 is absolutely gorgeous- in both tone and aesthetics. The solid spruce top combines with the flamed maple back & sides to bring one of the deepest and articulate sounds to the table. The lows here are so deep and tight that you can feel them in your body as you play. The maple, however, also allows each note to shine right through. Single note lines cut through the mix but have some solid body to them- this Gibson has a big sound- you may never have to double track your guitar parts ever again. The projection here is astounding, but if you need to fill a larger room, this beauty has the Prefix Plus system right onboard. This system has Bass, Contour, Treble, Brilliance, Notch, Phase, and a Brilliance control. This offers you a lot of tonal options. Tune to the room in seconds. This is one of those guitars you\'ll want with you on every session- a true workhorse. The neck here is very thin- just .81\" deep at the 5th fret with a C profile. One of the most comfortable Gibson necks I have ever felt. The look here is absolutely spectacular- the Antique Natural finish shows off the deep flaming on the sides, back, and neck. Add to that multi-ply body binding, bound fingerboard, abalone rosette, split parallelogram inlays, crown headstock inlay, and gold hardware and you\'ve got a work of art. This J185 is in very good +/- overall condition- the bridge appears to have been professionally reglued at some point, there are scratches and a chip on the headstock. several small compressions on the top(examples in pics), pick scratches on the top bout(pic), and a slight \'bow\' on the back seam(pic)- nothing that affects the performance whatsoever. The frets are clean- the action is a very comfortable 3/32\" at the 12th fret low E. This sale includes the original hardshell case(interior lining pulling away as you can see in pic).
