Assembly Notice
This bicycle will ship in "Dealer Ready" condition. It is 80-90% assembled. Final bicycle assembly is not difficult and takes a skilled mechanic 15 - 20 minutes, however an improperly assembled / tuned bicycle can lead to damage to the bicycle or injury to you. We recommend that you have this bike assembled by a qualified mechanic. If you choose to assemble the bike yourself, manufacturers will only be able to warranty the frame.
Bicycle assembly typically involves but is not limited to these steps:
- Install front wheel
- Install handlebars
- Install seat
- Install pedals - if included
- Inflate tires
- True wheels if necessary. It is normal for a bicycle out of the box from the factory to require wheel truing. This is a normal part of bicycle assembly.
- Adjust / bleed brakes
- Adjust front and rear derailleurs if equipped.
- Adjust / inflate suspension if equipped
All parts, including preinstalled components must be properly tightened and adjusted prior to riding. After a few rides it is normal that your bike will need some tuning.
NOTE: STRIPPED THREADS IN CRANKS AND PEDALS ARE DUE TO THOSE COMPONENTS NOT BEING PROPERLY TIGHTENED. STRIPPED THREADS DUE TO IMPROPER ASSEMBLY / MAINTENANCE ARE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY.
