2014 SE 24s Innovation Racing Bike, Monterey Power Curve TT 24-Speed Hybrid Bicycle, Blue, 19 Inch SE has known for quality bikes for the last 39 years as they were founded in 1977.
This bike is a street bike with metal forks to absorb bumps and rough roads.
The bike is essentially new as the owner only rode it twice after purchase. Owner had this ordered, so everything is in better shape than a show floor bike would be as they are ridden many times by interested parties.
Frame
The bike has an SE 1 alloy with shaped top tube frame. Frame shows no stress marks or unintended curvature.
Gear System
It has a Shimano Altus trigger, finger lever based shifting system capable of 24 speeds. The corresponding Shimano Hyperglide (Rear: CS-HG31-8) cassettes are in great condition and have no wear or debris. A Shimano Acera SiS Index 8-speed deraileur is installed in the rear and is in excellent shape.
Braking System
Alloy Mini-V Linear pull Power V factory brakes are installed. The attached Jegwire cables are like new and have plenty of extra line for future usage. Brakes are factory adjusted.
Wheels/Tires
The factory Nylon tires are Road 27 tpi, 700c x 28c. They are excellent condition and show very light to no wear. There are no rips or gashes in the tires and the inner tubes are like new. They are fully inflated to max PSI currently. The Wheels are on a quick release system. Valve stems are Presta type. 28-622 (700x28C) H-419-2 Minimum Pressure 55kPA/80P.S.I./5.5Bar Maximum Pressure 685kPa/100P.S.I./6.8Bar. The Wheels are aluminum and feature black spokes.
Chain
Factory chain is installed FG Narrow (FSC-FG51).
Seat
The factory seat has been replaced with a Forté Countour XFC Gel seat with ample padding for comfort.
Accessories
Fenders
Planet Bike Front and Rear fender set has been professionally installed on the bike.
Bottle Cage
A silver with blue accents Ibera bottle cage is installed on the water bottle mount of the bike.
Reflectors
Factory front (White) and rear (Red) reflectors are installed. Wheel reflectors (White) are also on the wheel spokes.
Kickstand
A 285mm Greenfield Kick metal alloy kickstand has been installed.
Seat
The original Factory seat is included if desired to replace the installed one. Factory seat is a SE w/ foam padding, steel rails.
Valve Stem Adapter
A Shrader to Presta valve stem adapter for a bike pump is included.
Allen/Hex Wrench
A standard bike allen hex wrench for adjustments and additions (Brakes/Bottle Cage/Accessories/etc) is included.
Manual
Original factory \"Bicycle Owner\'s Manual\" is included and in good shape. It is an encompassing manual for the SE line and not specific to the bike.
Miscellaneous
Original factory bolts for the bottle mount are included.
