Up for sale is a 2016 Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Pro in a stunning Aqua Blue finish weighing in at a very comfortable 9.0 pounds.These guitars were made for Guitar Center and this one had the nicest top of any I have seen on their website. The figuring/Flame on this one is just killer, and IMO, on par with some of the nicest 59 Historic Reissues currently coming out of the Gibson Custom Shop. I always check out the listings on Reverb and for ET\'s (Exceptional Tops) for comparison, and this one has got to be one of the better-looking examples of a Custom Shop piece out there at this time. In addition to its exquisite figuring and great color, this Guitar also has a great-looking Mahogany back. The coolest feature of this guitar is the neck shape. It is not as thick as a traditional 59 Historic neck but still has the rounded profile and feels great. It is definitely one of the fastest Les Paul necks I have owned. The tone is what you would expect, very balanced across the spectrum. It has a Burstbucker 2 in the neck and a Burstbucker 3 in the bridge. The guitar also has special wiring, coil splits and a kill switch. As you can see from the pictures the cream pick guard and pickup bezels really make the guitar pop. Cosmetically, this guitar is perfect. There are no visible blemishes, dings, dents, depressions, worm marks, scrapes or scratches of any sort that I can see. I repeat, this piece is exceptional from a fit and finish standpoint and is in Mint condition. If you\'re looking for a\"Jaw-Dropper\" with plenty of Mojo that\'s equipped with pure Les Paul tone and versatility, then look no further.
