The MIG 2400 is a 240 amp MIG welder with a duty cycle of 35% at 240 amps, and 100% at 142 amps. It has 24 heat settings, for complete adjustability. The machine features a COPPER wound transformer. Copper is a better conductor of electricity than aluminum, lasts longer than aluminum, but also gives you a smooth, stable arc, and isn’t that what you are looking for in your welder?

The 2400 features a 4 roller gear drive wire feeder, where all 4 rolls are driven for a smooth consistent wire feed. The standard welding gun on this machine is a 10 ft HTP 24 series welding gun. We can upgrade you to a 12 ft gun for $20 or to a 15 ft gun for an additional $30. Or if you want another welding gun, we can put any gun on this fine welder that you may want. The ground cable is 10 ft long, and the input power cord is also 10 ft long. The machine will operate on 208/240 volt single phase power. There is a voltage adjustment tap to adjust the voltage.

The machine comes standard with rollers to handle .035” and .045” wire. It will handle both 8” (10 lb) and 12” (30 lb) spools of welding wire. Optional rollers will allow you to run .023” and .030” hard wire or .035” and .045” flux cored wire.

The unit comes with the undercarriage in the photo, flow meter, gas hose, ground cable and 10ft HTP 24 Series welding gun. It does not include the tank in the photo. There is so much copper in the transformer, the MIG 2400 weighs 240 lbs. Shipping weight is 260 lbs. We can get this machine just about anywhere in the country to a commercial address for $120. A commercial address is a business address that is open from 9 to 5 and has the ability to unload a 260 lb pallet off the back of s semi. However, to get an exact freight quote send me an e-mail. Residential delivery is more expensive, and you can also pick this up at the freight terminal to save some money.
