You are buying over 25 pounds of nut size Northeast PA Anthracite hard coal, from the heart of coal country in the U.S.A., commonly used for heating, forging and/or blacksmithing

Anthracite coal is the hardest, shiniest, purest form of coal there is. This nut size coal ranges from 1-1/2\" down to 7/8\" and is screened very well with, little dust. Anthracite does not give off any soot or smoke, and will not cause your chimney to build up w/ creosote like wood does. Anthracite coal puts off 25 million BTU per ton, versus some of the best wood, which only puts out 20 million BTU per ton. This equals more heat!

This coal is boxed in a USPS PRIORITY BOX AND LINED WITH A THICK LINER TO PREVENT IT FROM GETTING WET, THOUGH THIS COAL WILL NOT SUCK UP INTERNAL MOISTURE, JUST SURFACE MOISTURE, WHICH IS WHAT MAKES IT GREAT FORGE COAL
