This is a 19th century cast iron syrup kettle. I believe it is a 60 gal, but it may be a 70 gal. I couldn't find any founders marks. The kettle is in good condition, no chips, crack or breaks. The outside diameter is 55 inches and it is about 22" deep. Then rim is 4". It is a little rusty in spots from being out in the weather, I've tried to show every angle from the pictures. Many people use these as decorative pieces in flowerbeds, but applications are endless. I have no clue how to ship this and I'm sure it would be expensive, my guess is it weighs between 300-400 pounds. We would be willing to meet the buyer up to around 180 miles from Trinity, Tx for a price based on distance and gas prices. Local pickup is also an option. If we do ship it buyer is responsible for the cost. Please feel free to email any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. .
