Silver lithographed tin battery operated capsule. The capsule is designed to sit upright on a red plastic base. There is a large orange clear plastic lighted nosecone on the top. Two doors are set into the sides. Corrugated skin pattern. Stop and go action. Capsule rotates and the two doors open to reveal astronaut. It first appears in the Advance Stores Toys & Gifts Catalog for 1969. Listed as new in the 1969 Horikawa catalog. The compartment battery door is dented.See thelast picture, please.
