I've heardEB's make bulbs last longer? EB Digital ballasts also run the lamp/bulb very efficiently so the bulb is going to last a lot longer than it's 24,000 hour lifespan.

Is this a good light for a beginner? Yes, it is an excellent light for a beginner, novice or pro. 600 watt lights are very popular due to their excellentlumen per watt ratio. They are one of the most efficient producers light will grow excellent, professional quality plants.

What is up with Reflectorized bulbs? They are bulbs designed to operate without an external reflector. They have been on the market for several years and have a track record of proven results. The reflector is built into the bulb by a using a mirror like finish on the interior of the bulb. The glass shape of the bulb is not round, it is convex shaped with a "v" in the middle - it was engineered specifically for use as a grow lighting reflector bulb. This is a very special bulb and produces excellent lumen output and "footprint" (the way light is dispersed over top of the garden canopy).

How hot does this light get? The ballast you can touch with your hand, it will not be hot at all. The bulb will emit 600 watts of heat,it gets hot, too hot to touch and too bright to look at.So you'll have to ventilateyour grow room with a ventilation fan. All grow rooms should be ventilated to expel spent air, humidity and heat.

Why are you selling this? I thought of the best lighting system with the latest features that I think growers would want. Many growers don't know much about the digital ballasts or reflectorized lamps and I was amazed to see noone selling a system as simple and efficient as this one. I did a lot of homework to come up with this system and contacted many suppliers to come up with the best price and best quality before I put it up for bids.
