  • A 1964 Schwinn Tiger with a desirable, Bendix Automatic, 2 speed hub.

  • It is the 3 yellow band type hub. You pedal back then forward to shift between low and normal gears. You pedal back further to stop with the coaster brake. It is often called a two speed kickback hub.

  • Boys, cantilever, 18\" steel frame.

  • 26\" x 1 3/4\", middleweight S-7 chrome rims. Front hub is larger size Schwinn Script.

  • Clean spokes.

  • The rims are center stamped, Schwinn Tubular S-7.

  • A good pair of vintage Kelly Celebrity whitewall tires.

  • Comes with an original Schwinn chrome front rack. It is in excellent condition.

  • The bike looks to be mostly original. The tires are vintage black paint with chrome rims and fenders.

  • I cleaned and detailed the bicycle. I took it down to the frame to do it right., The bearings in the bottom bracket and head set have been cleaned and greased. I made some minor adjustments. It looks good and rides well.

  • The bike has an excellent hub. It shifts smoothly. The brake works well. There is no rust on the shell chrome. The yellow bands are strong.

  • The frame and fork are in good shape, not bent or dented.

  • It has one of the nicer chrome front racks I have seen. It has the original Schwinn mount with correct nut and triangular bolt. It is clean and shines. It is not bent. The spring is strong. It is a $100 rack.

  • The paint shines with some scratches.

  • The graphics are weakening some.

  • There is some peppering and thin chrome from cleaned surface rust. Most of the chrome shines.

  • The fenders have some dings and scratches. There is some light peppering. They shine. The chrome braces are pretty good. The fenders are not great but they are not too bad, either.

  • The rims have several dents from an angry sibling pounding on them with something. I got the story from the fellow I bought it from. Check the pictures. They are mainly on the tops of the rims. There is one on the side. These Schwinn rims are double walled. The dents don\'t go through the inner wall. The tires hold air fine. The wheels are not far off true. The damage is cosmetic and does not affect the integrity.

  • The chrome on the rims cleaned up well. There is some peppering. They shine.

  • The original black and white S seat has some damage. The handle between the rails, at the back is snapped off on one side. There is a cut in the top of the saddle.

  • Good Schwinn drop forged stem and deluxe head set.

  • Gulco six pie reflector with chrome mount.

  • This 64 has all the correct chrome parts on it. Chrome seat post and kickstand. Chrome seat binder with AS bolt, chrome fender braces

  • Original pedals and grips.

  • The handlebars have some scratches on the bends.

  • Overall the bike looks nice. The hub works well. It has a good front rack. It is clean and ready to ride. It is not pristine but certainly presentable.
