Life Test: No dropI am not familar with a brand of National Kits however that is what the tube is marked. I have compared with Delco, GE, Philco, and other manufacturers for similar geometry but I did not find a match.I use the tube tester to discover bad tubes to discard. I don\'t use the tester to rate how good a tube is as this is fairly subjective.This tube has been in storage for a quite long time. The boxes have been opened by myself to test each item. I use a B&K 747B Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. Each tube was rated as a good tube through testing.The tube boxes do show sign of getting old. Some boxes may not be the original box the tube was acquired in. A different box was used if:
- The original box was deteriorated significantly that the vacuum tube would not be considered safe for shipping
- Sometimes the original box is larger than most of the other boxes. For example, if the tube for sale generally shipped in a 1 3/4\" x 1 3/4\" x 4 3/4\" box but for whatever reason, a 2\" x 2\" x 5\" box was used when the tube was manufactured, I might change the box to a smaller box for shipping considerations.I have taken great care to ship the tubes. Each tube is wrapped individually with bubble wrap. The group of wrapped tubes is then bundled and wrapped in bubble wrap.
