Seven inch stroke shaper made by South Bend, in excellent condition. I am selling it only to make some room in my crampy shop. There is no measureable wear on any of the slideways. Vise is square, jaw is tight fitting. Motor runs on house current. Vee belts are brand new. Included is a spare vise base, tee wrench for stroke adjust, square wrench for clapper, 1/2" diameter internal slotting toolholder and an indexing 1/4" square toolholder. The wood base shoe is included. Thethreaded end of cross feed screw is broken off, but the ball handle fits tight and has never slipped. The cross feed pawl is worn a bit on the end- where sometimes the auto feed will slip and not advance. I loop an elastic band on the pawl knob and that got the auto feed working. Due to disability, I cannot move item. I will not hold item more than seven days after sale. The shaper is located in southwestern Rhode Island. I would prefer the winnerpick item up, but itcan be shippedif buyer arranges all pickup, moving and shipping cost. Item will be picked up from driveway.

On request, I have attempted to add more photos of this machine. I must add that this shaper was used only by me, very lightly, in my own home shop. The only reason I'm selling it is that my hobby has changed and Ineed more room for my motor collection. It is currently stored dry. The buyer can use my engine hoist to lift the shaper into an SUV or a pickup truck.
