This tiny morsel was made in France circa 1920 by SFBJ. Measuring just 9\" tall and retaining the original body finish. There is some peeling as shown, but remarkably, the paper body label remains fully intact. Expressive deep brown sleep eyes are surrounded by hand painted upper and lower lashes, feathered brows, lovely facial painting, an open closed mouth with two adorable upper teeth and the chubbiest double chin ever! The head has been black lighted and is free of damage. Topped off with the original strawberry blonde mohair wig. The clothing is extraordinarily wonderful. There are pantaloons, an antique full slip with tiny flower at chest, the antique dress is the sweetest little confection! In perfect condition, it is hand stitched with multi colored ducks wearing hats. Speaking of hats... To top it all off, an old blue knit cap sits atop this adorable little cherub. This 236 mold is rarely found in this tiny size and displays so sweetly in a cabinet or the hands of a larger doll or bear.
