You are looking at (1) professionallyrebuilt big block Chevy Gen V & gen VI 454 cylinder head, cast # 10114156.These heads were used from 1991 to 95 on 454 powered trucks including the SS454pickup. They are open chamber, oval port with 118 CC chambers and 2.07 / 1.72valves. Sorry, I only have one.
This head was professionally rebuilt around 15 years ago byGettle Machine Shop in Lebanon Pa (now closed). Gettles was an old school shop, family runand well known in the area. They rebuilt the engine in my dad?s 47 Willysbefore they closed and the owner, Bill retired. They did everything from sprintcar engines to farmall tractors. Bill is still alive and super knowledgeable.Folks like him are a dying breed and the new guys don?t know this OLD stuff.
This head was done for a customer who never picked it up.
It was tanked, magged andcompletely rebuilt from top to bottom, then bagged and stored in a modernwarehouse. Ready to use. You couldn?t get yours rebuilt for my asking price.
