This Inkle is a small,narrow band loom and not too$$ for someonewanting to learn how to do Inkle weaving.(bands up to 3 inches inches possible).

The tote a long inkle can double as a card/tablet loom as shown in photos or as a regular inkle weave. Projects not included.

Each loom is hand crafted and the actual loom may have slightly different bases than the picture shown but all have the same peg layouts and shape.

The inkle weaving loom is aprimitivetool used in Early American times and other parts of the world. Although no proof there some historians feel the \"box or tape looms were actually a type of inkle. There are a few \"modern\" hardware parts on these Tote-A-Longs the spirit of the olden times is still intact in the design as well as the products they produce.

This inkle will make about an 8 foot finished colorfulwoven band. (Project not included)

Thesliding tensionpeg has a full 6\" slot for easy warp advancefor loosening or tightening the warps.

Tools ( shed stick and shuttle) are made from MDF and are made to hang from the pegs for quick weaving or for storage.

Itis made out of Russian Birch finish (used by cabinet shops to build doors and cabinets out of). The loom is tough and will give the user many happy hours of making the colorful, springy cords that have four sides to them. The hardwood islinseed oiled.

Thisloomis less than12 inches tall and 15 inches longand can be used whenever you have a quiet moment or are bored. I use them while watching tv and find many uses for the finished straps..
