This very large Paiute seed jar basket is elegantly twined with split willow shoots, the thin under skin of the bark left adhering to the wood. Willow in this condition is referred to as \"sunburned.\" The lug loops on the seed jar consist of interwoven cords of two ply dogbone cordage. It is in perfect condition.
