This Victorian sewing box i think dates to around 1870 , the box has a walnut veneered surface with two inlaid bands of mosaic inlay like Tunbridge Ware which gives a great effect as seen in the photos, there is an inset brass roundel in the centre of the lid and front of the box and there is a working lock and key , inside there is no linings so needs re-lining , the box measures 9.75 x 6.75 x 5.5 inches , in pretty good condition , there are a few minor knocks here and there on the outside but otherwise general minor wear and tear with age, POSTAGE UK £4.50 , EUROPE £13.95 , REST OF WORLD £19.95 signed for
