Hereis an Antique 1800sPainted PARFLECHE Case. Thesehad Many Different Uses. Basically, was for carrying something that really needed to be protected. This came out of a Large Collection I recently acquired. It is Old and it is Real!!!!!!!!! Evidentally, The painting on these was actually a map. Or, in most cases it was.It is Approx10 1/4" TWide and is approx 7 3/4" Tall. If you collect these, this isa GOOD ONE!!!!!!!! I AM NOT, and Expert in this area, SO PLEASE Ask Questions!!!!!
