ANTIQUE I.WILSON TRADE KNIFE.... 14 1/2" long.... carbon steel blade with clearly visible maker's mark (I.WILSON, SYCAMORE ST., SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND) and tapered tang.... hardwood handle with six steel pins.... rich age patina on handle and blade.... this great antique knife has lots of character.... comes with REPRODUCTION BEADED KNIFE SHEATH.... reproduction of an 1800s Northern Plains knife sheath.... 14 1/4" long, 53" wide.... elk sinew beaded on handscraped rawhide and braintanned buckskin in traditional design, very tight beadwork.... main body made from handscraped rawhide .... beautiful old time color seed beads.... antiqued brass tacks (solid brass heads, steel shanks).... front of knife sheath painted with red ochre bound in hide glue.... great overall patina (photos don't do it justice)!!!! .... this is a very impressive outfit that looks and feels like an Buffalo Days / Indian Wars relic, but is offered at a much more attractive price....
