Fantastic tea set for anyone to admire, or to give as a gift(wedding, anniversary, or to keep the women happy when you buy your collectible comics, fishing gear, Mustang, ATV, boat, gold mining equipment, etc., yes you got the idea, so go grab yer man to get offa his wallet(you\'ll have to make him read it), because he won\'t be searching for this stuff, he\'s in the camping/boating/auto section! Gold trimming all around with what I think is a rare set made/targeted for the California, Florida, Texas, Spanish,orSouth Americanmarkets, as I have never seen a set with a senorita for the centrepiece, it\'s usually flower pattern, birds,or whimsical themed(such as a woman on a swing). Bottoms are stamped Adeline at top, A Crest/Insignia in the middle,Porcellana Fine at bottom!
This would look fantasticin anyone\'s kitchen or dining room hutch, a must have on the ranch, farm, office, oranywhere you want a guest to say to themselves \"holy.......moley\"!
With Dallas having one lastrun on TV, andwithJR(Larry Hagman) passing on to the oil fields of dreams, it\'s a truly must have for the TV Series Fan!
This is also just the set for any collector of Texan, Mexican, or Spanish themed collectibles, and worthy ofany Queen of Hearts(ahem). Only thing missing are the original boxes.
I placed the set on a nice pineend table so youcould see how it would look on your own table or cornerdisplay/hutch, and they went right back into packaging afterwards. I\'m not leaving them out to have anything happen to them. Just too valuable! Pictures don\'t do the set justice, the set really stands out, with the white really giving the pieces a brilliance to them which seems to beam off of them, and then you get the whammy by all the gold trim! The gold trim accenting is exquisite, notthe dull gold accentingpaint,the gold trim, which is anywhere from 18-24 kt. is my best guess(most sets are in this range), and the heart cut outs make the set stand out from other sets I have seen. I could not get a better pic for the Adeline Fine Porcelain stamp, and my editing software could not focus it any better, but I will try to get another picture that is more defined.
I researched the maker(Adeline) and \"for sale\" tea sets made by them, anda 6cup set alone(same makers mark on the bottom),had a start price of$199, and they said that was a great deal, way under the actual price! That was also a much plainer and much less attractiveflower pattern set, no where near as nice as this one.
I have NOT FOUND A COMPLETE SET LIKE THIS ANYWHERE ON THE NET, DEFINITELY NOT ON E-BAY!!!!!!!
NOT A CRACK OR DEFECT OTHER THAN A FEW TINYGOLD MISSES(right from factory firing)! This set was found in a storage hole in a house when they were moving out, always packed away, NEVER USED SET, and at least 10 years old already! No one will tell you the set it is not worth it! If you own a store for fine porcelain or collectibles, I invite you to offer, you will make a lot off of this set, and it will be sure to draw customers in as well!
Full Serving Set consists of 1 serving plater/plate, 1 teapot, 1 creamer, 1 sugar bowl, 6 cups and 6 saucers! My aunt(a great collector of fine china) says that this set is a fully useable set(got asked), so you don\'t have to just show it if you want to use it. Myself, I\'d lock it up in a nice china buffet(a really big one, arrrrggg matey)! Your husband, boyfriend, etc., will definitely want it locked up, lol!
