This auction is for a used 7-Pod Aerogarden classic with 2 sets of new grow lights (4 bulbs) and 2 new replacement pumps. This unit is in working order and has been used to grow lettuce, herbs and cherry tomatoes. Please note that it does not come with any seed kits. The following issues are not service affecting, but I feel a buyer should be aware of:
- cosmetically, it has minor staining from fertilizer residue
- the sponge type pump filter that came with the unit 'decomposed' over time and I have been using a small square of vinyl window screen as a filter to keep roots out of the pump
- the plastic float that activates the 'low water' indicator doesn't always float as it should, causing a false 'low water' indication
- the original packaging is no longer available, but the unit will be packaged with care.
