This neat little 35# 58\" takedown recurve is by the Chinese maker AF Archery. I\'m sure you have seen the listings for these bows at about $125 dollars delivered and wondered if they were anything good. Well, I can tell you that their products are actually very good for the money! I bought this bow to experiment with limb preload, trying to increase short draw performance. You will find some holes drilled under the limbs where I installed screws to raise and lower the limb mounting angle and a hole drilled in front of the riser for a small stabilizer. Also a KwikeeKwiver mount is installed. The experiments were very successful so I got a new, fancier bow to setup permanently. This bow is fully usable as is, I did nothing to damage it\'s integrity. The only thing about this bow is that the tiller was upside down, so the lower limb has to go on top and top on lower. This would be a very nice little bow if a person was to fill the holes, sand down everything to fit and refinish in a satin PolyUrathane.
