You are offerding on a VERY NICE Allied Radio Knight Kit Model749 Ocean Hopper with a full compliment of coils. This OH was completely rebuilt in June of2007 using 20 gauge solid wire and I used right angles where possible. The cabinet, as can be seen in the photos, isin very good condition. This Model 749is circa 1961 with an original filter choke installed. The tubes are original Ocean Hopper (OH), butfrom different OHs, and selected to optimize performance. The filter capacitor is from Antique ElectronicSupply, their P/N C-ER33-47-22. “Modern”film capacitors are used throughout.This OH was the subject of my article in Electric Radio Number 295, December 2013, “My Last Allied Radio Knight Kit Ocean Hopper?Probably Not!”, and will beincluded.
