I am re-listing this fine amp again. I believe thebuyer may have been in over his head a bit. We both agreed to cancel the purchase.I reminded him that most of the components in the amp are 30 years old andcould fail any time. This is a gem of an amp will last a ham for 30 more yearsIF you plan to do the maintenance required. You need to know something aboutHigh Voltages and how to use a soldering iron.

Power output picture was on 40 meters with about 60 watts of drive. 10 meters was about 700 watts out with 60-70 watts drive.

Works on 160, 80, 20, 15, and 10 meters (10mtrmod done). The amplifier can be manually tuned. The amplifier also has per settune positions for No Tune.
The amplifier will work on 10mhz on the 14mhz position and 18mhz on 21mhzposition. The amplifier will NOT work on 24mhz. Doing so will burn the plate RFchoke. The RFC 3 RF choke is include but has not been install. The 24mhzmodification write up is included. The amplifier is wired for 220VAC now butcan be wired for 110VAC.
The amplifier has had the following modifications installed1. 10 Meter operation modification. Blank switch position after 21mhz.
2. Low Drive modification
3. Biggest modification, amplifier was converted to 3CX800s (2 installed)
To change the filament voltage instead of installing a extra boost filamenttransformer, the main power transformer was replaced with a Peter Dahl Hypersiltransformer with the correct filament voltage and a small increase in platevoltage to better accommodate the 3CX800s. The 3CX800s were fitted with machinedTeflon collars. See Internal picture.4. The power supply rectifiers and rectifier by-pass capacitors were replaced.
5. The input RF connector was changed from RCA connector to SO-239 teflon.
6. The Case was modified with 8 adjustment holes for the NO Tune positiontuning capacitors without opening the cabinet.
7. New power cord.If you would like to hear the amp on the air-- let me know, we can set up atime. I am good on any HF band.
The amplifier will be shipped in 3 packages tubes and tube collars, Amplifier,and power transformer.
